Feeding A Baby Squirrel
First, determine the weight of the baby squirrel and multiply it by 7% to determine how much to feed it. If the baby is underweight, start with smaller feedings and work up to the 7% mark. It’s important to avoid overfeeding the baby squirrel because it can develop diarrhea and bloating, which are potentially life-threatening. So, it’s very important to weigh it every day. Once the eyes are open, stop stimulating the baby.
