To make a homemade squirrel feeder, you can cut the cedar or lumber to the appropriate size. You can use a staple gun or wood screws to attach the pieces together. To hang the feeder from the roof, secure the wood pieces with drive-in screws. You can also add peanuts, cracked corn, and birdseed. Using a hammer and nails, drill holes in the top and bottom of the piece.
