The flying squirrels’ behavior is different than most other animals. They are night-time aerialists and will stop on a tree branch or trunk and then scurry around the other side, hiding from predators. Although these creatures are surefooted and agile in the air, they leave a trail behind them. They also build nests from bark and leaves, and the nest is only eight inches across.
The southern flying squirrel weighs 1.8 to 2.5 ounces, while the northern flying squirrels weigh up to 4.4 ounces. Their length is nine to 10 inches, and they’re both nocturnal. They feed on insects, small birds, and moths. This makes them an excellent mount for your characters. So, beware of flying squirrels! They are one of the most adorable pets in the game!
Gray and fox squirrels
Both gray and fox squirrels are rare creatures, and it is possible to obtain both of them in World of Warcraft. While gray squirrels have more aggressive behavior, they are more docile and prefer open forests. Luckily, property owners can help the fox squirrels make the transition by planting more walnut trees and other hardwoods in their yards. As the Midwestern subspecies of squirrels grows in number, they are expanding south and west. On the other hand, their frisky cousins have moved to the west.
