Just Found a Squirrel in My Car on Facebook
If you’ve seen a post on Facebook about “just found a squirrel in my car,” you’re probably thinking that the person has probably been in an accident. While the squirrel might be “roadkill,” most motorists wouldn’t be as sympathetic as Chris Felix, who stopped to perform CPR and save the animal. Chris had just found the squirrel while driving on his commute. The squirrel had been tangled in his back tire when Felix struck it.

Observations
A Scottish woman who has been observing squirrels for years has posted incredible photos of her experiences. One of her latest pictures shows a squirrel “driving” her car and went viral on Facebook. Another picture shows a squirrel with a miniature shopping trolley. It seems the two of them are incredibly close friends, and the Facebook post has spread like wildfire. In the comments section of the post, she asked for help from others.
Habitat
Squirrels are small mammals, widely distributed throughout the world. They are mostly nocturnal and have a long history of living in human homes. Though they are not particularly inspiring in nature, they have adapted well to human civilizations and are an attractive addition to urban landscapes. In fact, squirrels often use public parks and urban settings as their ambassadors, because they are charismatic, opportunistic, and adaptable.
During the mating season, male squirrels descend from trees to actively pursue females. These rodents live in a patch of trees and make several nests in a single plot. Some nests are used for sleeping, while others are used to mate. These nests are hidden within thin branches and are only exposed during periods of drought. But, when it comes to their breeding habits, male squirrels are most active in nesting in trees.
Nature’s foresters
A Facebook user named Bill Fischer posted the hilarious video of his squirrel experience. It’s a classic example of how micromanaging a supervisor can make a life-threatening situation even more horrific. But it’s also a testament to how important these animals are to our ecosystem. If you’ve ever wondered how squirrels can make our lives more bearable, just consider the fact that these creatures are responsible for a quarter of all trees in the world.
Squirrels are nature’s foresters. They plant millions of trees every year, and they spread and bury tree nuts all over the continent. Even if they forget about 10% of their food, they’re responsible for planting millions of trees in North America! So while we may be jealous of their efforts to make our lives more bearable, we can celebrate these amazing creatures.
