In it, she meets Nancy, Tippy-Toe, and Jeff the Land-Shark, and they battle against Galactus, a super villain who uses psychic powers to manipulate people’s minds. Later, they meet a fellow ESU computer science student, Brain Drain. Doreen then defeats Doctor Doom, forcing him to give up the ghostly ghosts of his past.

She was a supporting character in the Luke Cage and Jessica Jones comics and also had her own solo series. She was known to divide her time between superhero adventures and college.
